Massimo Mazzanti

Massimo graduated in 1980 cum laude from the University of Ferrara and he attended several specialization courses in employment law at the Bocconi University in Milan and Isper in Rome.

 

After his first working experiences in forensic practice at a well-known legal office in the Estense city, he has been working with the Industrial Relations Department of the Pirellli Group in Milano since 1982.

 

Since 1984 he has been responsible for the union relations of the Unione Agricoltori of Ferrara and subsequently Co-Director of the Unione Agricoltori of Ferrara and Director of the Unione Agricoltori of Bologna. Since 1994 he has been working as a freelancer.

 

He is a consultant in labour laws, trade unions, social security and labour laws, agricultural and civil laws of some of the most important institutions, associations and consortia in the agricultural, cooperative and food sectors. In his forensic activity he has also assisted, in Court, numerous small and medium-sized companies and individuals, important associations, organizations and companies of national and territorial relevance. He has overseen numerous corporate restructuring processes in companies, associations and organizations in the primary sector and services.

 

He has been a journalist since 1984 and is the managing director for some local magazines specialized in agriculture, politics and culture. He is also the author of over 2500 monographs, articles and short essays, all of which published in various magazines and periodical publications, legal and otherwise.

 

He collaborated in the drafting of the “Code of Succession” edited by Prof. Sesta, published by Giuffrè Editore Milano.

 

Since 1995 he has been a teacher in the field of labour laws, contracts and agricultural subjects at important regional training centers. Since 1993 he has been a member of the Permanent Trade Union Committee of Confagricoltura and since 1994 of the Delegation for the renewal of collective contracts in the national sector for agricultural workers, agricultural employees and managers.

 

From 1998 to 2002 he was President of Confedilizia of Ferrara, since 2002 President of the Cassa Extralegem pension fund for agricultural workers in the province of Bologna. He was also a member and part of the Board of Directors of the Cassa di Risparmio di Ferrara Foundation.

 

He is a member of numerous commissions and/or committees established within the institutional activities of INPS in Bologna, the Provincial Direction of Labor in Bologna, and the Provincial Agricultural Service of Bologna.

 

Up until 2009 he was provincial councillor of the Province of Ferrara. He is a member of numerous associations and groups operating in the cultural, political-economical, social and health services.

 

He is authorized to practice before the Supreme Court of Cassation.
